I didn’t know “the secret” until I saw the movie “The Secret” by creator and executive producer Rhonda Byrne in December 2006. She based the movie on the book, The Science of Getting Rich, by Wallace D. Wattles written in 1910.

This powerful and entertaining movie is about the Law of Attraction, which emphasizes how our thoughts create our reality. We attract things that we want and don’t want.

Before I saw the movie, I wasn’t attracting what I needed to complete my book, Making Sense of Your High Sensitivity. I was seeking help for page layout for my book. I was trying to work with people in my own town, but for many reasons, it never worked out.

I was very frustrated and was on the verge of abandoning the project! I had in my mind, that I would never find the right person to help me. My thoughts changed when I saw “The Secret”.

I learned that my negative thoughts were keeping away the right person that I needed. After viewing the movie, my attitude changed and I had in my mind that I would do whatever needed to get the right person to help me.

Shortly thereafter, a friend told me about a website called Elance.com. It’s a site that has freelancers from all over the world. I checked it out and spent countless hours looking at online portfolios for what I needed.

I decided to contact a person whose portfolio really stood out. I emailed this person, Adina Cucicov, and we had a good rapport. Based on email correspondence only, I knew I had the right person!

Adina is from Venice, Italy and English is her third language. Again through email, we were able to complete my book in the time frame that I needed.

Since then, Adina has helped me with the kindle version of Making Sense of Your High Sensitivity, and Real World Advice Specifically for Highly Sensitive People (Volume 2) .
