As a highly sensitive person, I expect everything to be perfect! Unfortunately, life doesn’t work that way. Do you have positive or negative expectations? What expectations do you have about yourself, other people, business and personal events, and life in general. Your attitude determines the positive or negative results that you get. The amount of happiness you have is determined by your ability to expect the best in every situation.
It’s inevitable that there will be times when situations will not go your way. People will disappoint you. Bad business decisions happen. Health challenges are part of living. Your attitude can make all the difference. Have you seen stories of people having serious medical problems and getting better because of positive expectations of healing?
When you try something new, what expectations do you have? Are you apprehensive? Do you go in with the positive attitude of making things happen? If there are road blocks, do you have the tenacity to do everything possible to make it work? Do you look for the best or worst in others? In social situations, do you expect to have a good time?
Positive and negative attitudes are part of our life experience programming. You get what you expect. Are you willing to look deep into your past and make adjustments as needed? This takes courage and soul-searching. Highly sensitive people have the tenacity and unique capability to do this. Belief is the most important part of the process. When you believe, you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish and how happy you can be.
What specific things can you do to have more positive expectations. Are you willing to seek help if needed? I’m interested in any thoughts or comments that you have about this topic.
