I got many comments about my post last week, about men posing with dogs, not theirs, to attract women under false pretentious. I’ve been asked how normal and honest highly sensitive people can meet for friendships, romance, or both! Can any of you relate to this dilemma?

If you work or attend classes or go to meetings, some of the people there would be HSPs. Your next-door neighbor could be a HSP. I read something recently about men posing with dogs on dating online sites. It turns out that they didn't actually own these dogs! They were trying to attract women through the false pretense that they were dog owners. I've been out of the dating scene for over forty years. Am I being too "sensitive" to believe that this is reprehensible behavior? I definitely have a pet peeve about this! I realize that this is a little thing to be bothered about compared to the rest of the problems of the world, but this is troubling to me.
