#HighlySensitivePeople: Would you like to feel better about yourself? (Part 2)

  1. It’s okay to speak up for yourself. As a highly sensitive person or introvert, you may struggle with asserting yourself or speaking up in social situations. Remember that your needs and opinions matter, and it’s important to advocate for yourself.
  2. Your emotions are valid. It’s common for highly sensitive people and introverts to feel deeply and be affected by their emotions. Remember that your emotions are valid, and it’s important to allow yourself to feel and process them in a healthy way.
  3. You are capable of growth and change. While sensitivity and introversion are part of your personality, they do not define you completely. Remember that you are capable of growth and change, and there are strategies and tools you can use to manage challenges and develop new skills.
  4. Take advantage of your strengths. As a highly sensitive person or introvert, you may have unique strengths that you can leverage in your personal and professional life. For example, you may be a great listener, creative problem-solver, or empathetic friend.
  5. Celebrate your accomplishments. As an introvert or highly sensitive person, you may be more prone to downplay your accomplishments or minimize your successes. Remember to celebrate your achievements, no matter how small they may seem.
  6. Your intuition is valuable. Highly sensitive people and introverts often have strong intuition and can sense things that others may miss. Trust your gut instincts and honor your inner voice.
