Being highly sensitive or not, change is extremely challenging. It’s one of the few things in life that is absolutely guaranteed, yet most people are unprepared or unwilling to cope with it. Isn’t this true in this time of worldwide crisis?

Change is a difficult process because it involves letting go of an old situation, be it good or bad. It’s human nature to have anxiety whenever we experience loss or have something new in our lives. Highly Sensitive People: Are You Self-Actualized?

As a highly sensitive person, it’s too easy to get caught up in too much alone time. Are you making the best out of your alone time during this world’s crisis?

Have you ever heard of self-actualization? In the mid-1900s, American psychologist Abraham Maslow created a pyramid that displays the hierarchy of human needs. The most basic level covers all survival needs: food, water, shelter, etc. At the top of the pyramid is self-actualization, which is a need that many people don’t get to fulfill in their lifetimes.
