Highly Sensitive People & Introverts: Why do we insist on doing everything alone?
I used to believe:
“If you want it done right, do it yourself.”
But that wasn’t strength.
It was fear:
• fear of being a burden
• fear of needing others
• fear of not being enough
So I carried everything… alone.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
Not asking for help isn’t independence.
It’s self-isolation.
People aren’t mind readers.
And the right people want to help.
What are you carrying right now that you don’t have to carry alone? I’m interested in a thoughts or comments that you have.
If this resonated with you, someone you care about might need it too. Don’t wait—share it with them now. A few words at the right moment can make all the difference.
